About me
Hi, my name is Martin, and I’m 55 years old. I live in northern Sweden with my wife, our three adult children, and two dogs. I enjoy the good things in life—good food, great drinks, and making the most of every day.
Staying active is a big part of who I am. I enjoy running, cross-country skiing, and strength training. I train regularly, though in a fairly unstructured way. For me, it’s not about how fast or hard I go anymore—it’s about the experience and the joy I get from it.
Over the years, I’ve had some incredible experiences through sports. I’ve run 15 marathons, skied the Vasaloppet eight times, and even completed the Nordenskiöldsloppet once. These challenges have been tough but deeply rewarding.
When I’m not training, I love to enjoy good food and drink. Cooking, sharing meals, and exploring new flavors are things I value a lot, especially when I get to share those moments with my family.
For me, life is about finding a balance between staying active, enjoying life’s pleasures, and cherishing the people and moments that matter most.
